The Team
Stéphane Garcia, Founder & Managing Partner
Stéphane studied communication, linguistics and German at the university of Strasbourg, France. He looks back on more than 30 years of experience in the Healthcare market. For the first 10 years, Stéphane moved from sales Rep to Director of Sales in the Human Medical Device market. In 1998, he accepted the challenge to create and develop a diagnostic company in veterinary medicine, which became market leader in France within less than 10 years. Stéphane followed that success becoming Regional Head and board member within the scil Group. Currently, he is founder and Managing Partner of B-side Partners.
Stéphane is an expert in Strategy, Organization and multicultural management, with a proven track record in difficult situation management.
In his spare time, he is a scuba diving instructor and rebreather diver. He also enjoys hiking in the back country searching for mushrooms. Stéphane is inspired by all the nice and positive elements of life.
Paul Lepine, Founder & Managing Partner
Paul Studied Business administration, finance and accounting at Loyola university & McGill, Canada. He has background in public accounting with KPMG and for 20 years has been involved in business and supply chain consulting, gaining substantial experience in large performance and business transformation projects across Europe. From 2007 on, he held the position of CFO for a market leading entity, in the Benelux, specialized in Veterinary distribution and manufacturing. Following that success, Paul was appointed Global CFO for a diagnostic company in the Animal Health market. Currently, he is founder and Managing Partner of B-side Partners.
Paul is an expert in finance and Mergers & Acquisitions.
In his spare time, he captains a traditional Dutch flat bottom sailing ship and is a member of the steering team at a local sailing club. Paul is inpired by the continue challenges that he sees developping in his life.
Dr Hartmut Jaissle, Founder & Managing Partner
Hartmut studied veterinary medicine at the Ludwig-Maximilian University in Munich, Germany and at the Virginia Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in Blacksburg, USA. After completing his studies and doctorate, Hartmut worked as a veterinary surgeon in different small animal clinics. In 1994, he moved to the veterinary industry and gained experience in various sales and marketing positions in the Pet Food and Medical Device business. 2003 Hartmut founded B.Braun VetCare inside the B.Braun Group, where he held the position of Managing Director. From 2012 to 2020, he was CEO of the scil Group, an international company specialized in veterinary laboratory and imaging diagnostics. Currently, he is founder and Managing Partner of B-side Partners.
Hartmut is an expert with a proven track record in the development and implementation of international business strategy, organizational development and change management.
In his spare time, he enjoys skiing and mountain hiking.
